Somer International Drilling (SomerX) is a Turkey-based international well engineering and field operations company that has been providing drilling, workover, and well completion operations services in geothermal, oil, and gas fields since 2005.

With its main office in Ankara and its branch in Algeria, SomerX provides safe, efficient, and sustainable solutions in high temperature-high pressure (HPHT) conditions, complex reservoir structures, and challenging field environments through projects it carries out in the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

Building on Somer Sondaj's legacy of field-based engineering, SomerX provides integrated drilling, workover, swab, well testing, well completion, and production optimization operations in geothermal and conventional energy fields. With a service model covering the entire well lifecycle from project planning to well closure, it offers end-to-end operational value to its clients from a single source.

Through our strategic collaboration with XRD Well Services within our international partnership structure, we integrate advanced well engineering, field supervision, and quality assurance processes into projects according to global standards. This structure positions SomerX not only as a field contractor but also as a technical solutions partner.
